Copper Care

Copper inclusions sealed in glass will retain their color for years, although exposure to strong sunlight may lessen the intensity over time. Copper banding is hand lacquered to prevent tarnishing and does not need to be polished. If lacquer wears off over time due to repeated cleaning, it can easily be returned to it's original shine with copper polish (we use MAAS available at Ace Hardware stores) and then re-sealed with lacquer or clear nail polish. Product purchased before 2009 can be permanently sealed using the same method.
